A summer evening recital of German and French songs and duets, including works by Schubert, Brahms, Strauss, Massenet and Debussy.

Anna McLachlan (mezzo-soprano) completed a Masters at Trinity Laban.  Whilst there she participated in the ENO Mento Scheme.  This year Anna co-founded Grassroots Opera, co-directing and performing the role of Orfeo in Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridici.  She has performed numerous other opera roles, and was a finalist in the Schubert Song Prize and sang in a masterclass with Dame Felicity Lott, at the London Song Festival. 

Crispin Lewis (bass-baritone).  Following post-graduate studies at the Royal College of Music, in violin, Crispin went on to study conducting and singing.  He has directed his own early music ensemble many times live on BBC Radio 3, and numerous times at London venues including Wigmore Hall, St John's Smith Square, the ROH Linbury Studio Theatre, Kings Place Hall One, and at the South Bank Centre.  He is also the conductor of three choral societies, and conducts orchestras on a freelance basis.  His opera roles over the last two years have included Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro), Sid (Albert Herring), and Leporello (Don Giovanni).   

Oliver Till (piano) is a pianist, conductor and repetiteur praised by The Times for 'ambitious, intelligent programming'.  He recently conducted Die Zauberflöte and Don Giovanni for St Paul's Opera; the Cunning Little Vixen for Grimeborn; and Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda for Allen Hall Seminary.  Future projects include being the soloist for C.P.E. Bach's Concerto in A Major; and his first solo piano recital.
