We are delighted to announce reporter, author, politician and UNICEF ambassador, Martin Bell OBE in conversation at Burgh at Burgh House.

Renowned  for his statement white suit, Martin started as a reporter in Norwich, before moving to London for a distinguished career as a foreign affairs correspondent for the BBC, reporting from Vietnam, the Middle East, Nigeria, Ghana and Northern Ireland. Twice winning the Royal Television Society’s Reporter of the Year and receiving an OBE in 1992. Bell was seriously injured whilst reporting in Sarajevo the same year. Martin famously stood and won as an independent candidate for MP agaist Neil Hamilton in 1997.

Tickets are £12 (£10 Friends of Burgh House & u25s) plus an additional buffet of cheese, charcuterie and nibbles with wine after the talk for £12.
