Take a walk round the Hampstead of long-time resident George du Maurier, famed for his illustrations for the legendary humour magazine Punch. Many were inspired by scenes from his rambles across the Heath, often in the company of the great author Henry James or another well-known local, Canon Alfred Ainger.
Led by Helen Walasek of Punch Cartoon Archive. Part of Punch’s 175th anniversary celebrations.
Free walk, meet at in the lobby of Burgh House just before 1pm.
