A cold january day in Hampstead. The artist Randolph Schwabe RWS was a professor at the Slade School of Fine Art at the University College London and suceeded Henry Tonks as the Principal of the Slade.  Scwabe uses cool tones effectivly to give the veiwer the feeling of a chill. The dynamic composition moves the eye from left to right.
