J. B. Rustomjee (1904 - 1986)

JB Rustomjee (Rusty) was a Parsi from Bombay who came to study Maths and English at Caius College Cambridge. He was later a maths teacher at King Alfred's School in Hampstead, when he took the photographs of Stanley Spencer painting on Hampstead Heath.  His grandson James Morris says, 'I think as an Indian he greatly enjoyed the relatively liberal and multicultural Hampstead of those days.'
