Old Hampstead Rediscovered 4. Patrick Lewis Forbes – A True Hampstead Artist
The fourth exhibition by the Heath and Hampstead Society with paintings from the collection at Camden Local Studies and Archives Centre. Patrick Lewis Forbes lived and worked as an artist in various addresses in Hampstead from 1892-1920 and attractively captured many local Hampstead scenes. Little is known about him and any reference work contains only the briefest of information. This exhibition aims to redress the situation.
A diverse selection of 2D and 3D work, capturing a range of emotions and memories, by three friends
Gwek d'Aigremont and Non Worrall.
An exhibition showing still-life, interiors and garden pictures in oils and acrylic alongside 30 portraits of friends and family in pencil.
An exhibition of recent works
that will include life, portrait, landscape and abstract pieces. Something to suit every taste.
The first exhibition for eight Japanese artists, who are pursuing their own styles, with work by Lisa Keiko Kirton, that bridges the Mesolithic and Jomon period.
